Can you tell us a little about your job role and what that involves?
I am a Customer Service Executive which daily means meeting and greeting the visitors to the showroom, answering telephone enquiries and filtering these through to the right department, processing internet orders and sorting all incoming and outgoing post. I help any of the sales executives if and when they need help, and also maintain and keep the showroom tidy ready for visitors, making sure all the products, brochures and samples are accessible to customers and my colleagues.
Do you have a favourite part of your job?
I like speaking to the customers and being to help them with their enquiries. I like to think I go above and beyond to help customers in any way I can. I also like to help out any of my colleagues, whether that be with an order or just finding some information for them. I enjoy the work I do and I’m always kept busy.
How do you find your colleagues?
Great. They are a really friendly group of people who really are a pleasure to work with. Everyone is always willing to help everyone and that creates such a great atmosphere to work in.
What are the positives of working at Rap?
Being able to work in a happy, friendly environment where the management are very approachable is great. Because Rap is also a family run business I have always felt very welcome and feel like I can talk to anyone about anything I need to, and they will listen ; no problem is ever too small.
Tell us a little about yourself?
In my spare time I enjoy reading, quizzes and listening to music. I love animals; I have two dogs and several different reptiles who keep me busy most of the time!
